A friend has a (commercial) garage with a roller shutter door that currently opens and closes using a key (- turn right for up turn left for down). The key unit is inside the garage, they have to go around the back and in the back door and then open the main door with the key... (actually quite a long way round to the back of the units)
He wants this replacing with a wireless unit and requires at least 2 key fobs so he can open n close the door from outside and keep the back door of the garage securely locked from the inside as there has been a few break-ins in the area lately.

Can anybody tell me a supplier of a wireless control unit that can replace (or be added to) the current key switch/motor? I have only ever had to connect these up to mains after somebody else has put the doors in and mounted the unit!

Also- a unit nearby has a device on their door whereas when you cross the beam at the door frame a bell sounds for a few seconds. Can anyone recommend where I can buy a kit to fit one of these?

My local independant wholesaler I use was unable to shed much light on these.

Thanks

if its a single phase tube op link controls is my supplier if its a 3 phase let me know the make of the motor starter also if its a single phase might be worth placing a battery back up on it incase of power cut

also forgot to mention for impulse down you have to have a safety device to comply to dsma regs otherwise health and safety can pull you for it a photo cell and reflector will cover that
