His there I currently have an external garage feed by what looks like 4mm SwA cable from house 16amp breaker
- currently garage 2-way fuse board has 40amp RCD with 2 mcb x1 is 6amp for lights and 16 amp for x4 double soclet's wired in 2.5mm cable

What is the max load with the cable from house to garage distance of cable approx 10 metres from board
Can I add a 3kw hand shower will need a bigger board with say 32amp breaker using 2.5mm cable same watt as kettle

Will a 63amp board in garage upgrade be sufficient can this be done?
Been trying to read up on this but the load side from house is throwing me?
Thank you.

I think you need to define exactly what you are trying to achieve AND get a competent spark to check what you have installed.....

Without these 2 pieces of vital information nobody on here can help you .....

Just had a look at your previous post. Playing with fire, I'd say.

Take note of the above post.

Hi Brydon,

Murdoch is correct I that you need to tell us what you trying to do and get a spark in to verify what the existing installation is.
Are you sure it's 4mm SWA cable? What is the installation method?
What items do you have hooked up to the present install? e.g. Fridge, heaters....
Is there an existing water feed for the hand shower you want to install or are you adding it? Is/will the pipe be copper?
