hi all i have got a question that has been bugging me i work in the insurance game and i would like to know when our company strips out a domestic installation to the bare bones then the installation is reinstated back to exsisting .. hence forth once works are completed i do a PIR but should i also do a minor works as well ... to me it would seem pointless as the results would be the same i would like some clarification with this issue plz ta .....

If its a strip out and re-fit as you say then there should be no need for a PIR what so ever, you should be issuing a EIC, if its part works then you may be issuing a EIC for the works done and a PIR for any existing installation
