Generation meter change?

Hi lads been to job today where loose connection in generation meter has ment meter requires changing!(terminal is burnt out) 2 questions !1 what is the routine for changing meter on an instal completed by anther company who closed down 2 weeks ago( can i amend the mcs data base??) 2 has it got to be same make or can i fit my usual elster (as ive got one

not sure, but im going to look at one soon same thing, i was thinking send notification to FiT licensee EON or who ever and note it down on the MCS cert old meter reading and new SN

Does anyone have the answer to this as have been requested to swap out 50 meters and need to start ASAP

Have you spoke to MCS for their advice? If the 50 meters are registered with same supplier then I don't think it would be much of an issue. Just a phone call should sort it.

The only thing i can see on an EON FIT application form under section 11, is an area where you can change the generation meter details giving the new meter reading etc.
