Hi...could anyone tell me what would cause a socket on a generator to fuse the plug on the extension i put in it, to fuse itself to it and burn ...

So you plugged an extension lead into your generator? What did you plug into the extension lead, what load were you supplying?

Now where did i put my all seeing, all knowing Crystal Ball??
