I was thinking of installing the Geo chorus pv monitor to my meters.
I understand that the system monitors the flashing leds to give data on what I am generating and what I am drawing from the grid., and a clip on sensor to be placed on the live cable between the meter and consumer unit.I have a 2 phase supply and my pv system has been linked into phase 1. My query is regarding the clip on 3rd sensor as I have 2 live cables leaving the meter.
I would be really grateful for any help on answering the following questions.
1.Do I need to get an additional clip on sensor for the second phase? Can the system cope with 4 sensors?
2. Would the monitor still be accurate if I just used the 2 led sensors, and the clip on phase 1 live?
3. Do I need to use the clip at all.? Are the led sensors enough.?
