its offensive
i tried to post an avatar no luck
mine would have been quite the opposite of a 2nd ww thug

The members aviator has been there for a number of years....without complaint> Members can change their aviator to any photo the wish, aslong as it is not sexual, sexist, racial or offensive.

Being a relatively new member (just under 12 months) I was surprised also by the choice of aviator chosen by that member. However the content of message posts that I have seen would not be offensive in my eyes and I think that is what is important. Some themselves may question the content of your picture that you post. Having travelled in asia, it could be questioned as, does it reflect expoliation of asian women by western men.. or expolitation of western men by asian women ?? But the picture to me is not offensive. As I say content of posts I believe is what is important IMO. In the time period of the mentioned aviator terrible attrocitices occurred, but also great technical achievements were also being developed that shaped our world in the years following. My own thoughts.

But without any explanation of why......the member could pick any historical person, from Churchill to Kim Jong...aslong as it doesn`t contain any offensive slogan or directed to offend.
You have just decided, after being a member since 2011. That tonight you are offended, by a photo which is in every history book, and readily available on the internet, with no reason or explanation. You are well aware of the report post feature, but have also failed to use it.
