Hello,

I am a first time poster, just after a little advice from you veterans really. My name is ross and I am 26 and from the midlands, I qualified as an installation electrician with a nvq level 3 in 2010. Unfortunately, due to the recession and general lack of work I was let go from the company I served my apprenticeship with. I have never really done much electrical work since, only bits and bobs, I always fell into other things, for instance I am a skilled plasterer, tiler and floor fitter, but anyway... I want to get back into the game full time, I just lack experience! Any advice where I should start? I really love the job but it just never panned out for me. I know one thing that will hold me back is that I am 16th edition so I need to sort this asap (any ideas if 18th is coming out soon?) Any advice would be very much appreciated!

Thanks
