Hi,

I am thinking of setting up to go alone , still unsure at the moment though. There are lots of things to think about and questions I have, one of the main one's is about getting paid, So from anyone who works for thereself/own business how do you find getting paid for the work you have done, do you have/get many people not willing to pay or try to get out of paying etc?

This I think would really p##s me off, having done the work and then having to struggle to get payments, or am I looking at this negatively?

Any info/advice would be appreciated.

Cheers guys.

don't work for landlords, they are a complete pain in the ****..well not all, I always charge new landlords (i don't know) upfront call out fees...some pay most will not, their loss -;)

95% of people will pay you providing the job is up to standard and the price is reasonable. As for the other 5% they would rather die. If you end up with a lage job ensure you get interm payments.
