Hello everyone.

I have registered not long ago and would like to ask you all a question already. :)

I wan't to get supply for a row of lights which will be controlled by a different switch. Will I need to get the supply from a switch or the ceiling rose?

If the answers could be precise as possible, it would be appreciated. :)

Thanks in advance for your helps.

all depends on how the existing has been wired. time to get a local electrician to quote.

Best PM a moderator and ask to be given access to the DIY forum and have this post moved, questions from non-electricians in the general electricians forums rarely attract polite replies.

Or if you are a trainee then the trainees forum would be a good idea

I concur with this excellent advice.

This is the DIY forum isn't it?

Yes it is, I moved your thread. Now you have Trainee forum permissions I've moved it again because you won't be able to access it otherwise.
