I have a small popup camper that has lost power to all of the outlets. everything else is working. there is a GFCI outlet with a yellow light on. Can I replace that GFCI and fix the problem?

thank you pc! with the breakers off, the GFCI will not respond to testing or resetting. i guess i'm disconnecting all power, shutting off the breakers and replacing that old GFCI.Can you reset the GFCI and operate the test button successfully with the camper disconnected? If so the camper has a problem and needs an electrician to fault-find.
If, without any load connected, the GFCI is not responding to your attempts to reset or tripping for no obvious reason, then it is probably faulty. In those cases you could replace it. Note that some will trip if they detect a faulty CPC = ground wire in the supply to them, in those cases the GFCI might be perfectly OK and you really ought to get a registered electrician in to check first.
But please, PLEASE, don't attempt things beyond your knowledge range! You have to be able to safely isolate the supply (switch off and check the power really is off at the GFCI) before working on it, and you should take a photo of how it is wired, etc before you remove the old one.
well, put new GFCI in an still no luck with the outlets.....thank you pc! with the breakers off, the GFCI will not respond to testing or resetting. i guess i'm disconnecting all power, shutting off the breakers and replacing that old GFCI.
it briefly went yellow. then nothingDoes the new GFCI actually set on.
yep. as an inexperienced DIY'er i think it's time to find an electrician.Replacing parts isn't the way forward isn't really cost effective. The GFCI has tripped for a reason and probably isn't faulty so you need to address the reason for its tripping.
