Hi Sun Loungers,
I'll be taking a bit of a back seat at SunSmart next year (for reasons not connected to the business) so I'm looking for someone that maybe has often thought about running (and part-owning) their own solar PV company but hasn't quite taken the plunge yet.
This would be a great experience to work with an established company (over 180 installs in 2.5 years) that believes in doing solar PV properly. I'm also backed up by three other shareholders who have been in leading positions in the global solar industry for a combined 50 years and are a great help and good fun to work with too.
Remuneration will be with a regular monthly salary depending on experience and that will be topped up with bonus for meeting quarterly revenue and profit targets. Share options will also be part of the package so the candidate will share in the success that they create. I'd plan to bring the person in around Aug/Sep and then work together for a 6 month handover period before I move away from a hands on role in Spring 2014.
The business has weathered all the storms in our industry so far and while there have been ups and downs we're now on a good profitable path to future growth.
