Hi I am looking for a updated version of the guidence note 3 but I want the electronic/pdf version does any one know where I can get one from that is not really expensive

Scout Ebay I found a Seller who was selling The New Regs/On-Site Guide & the Updated Guidance Notes on a CD for only 7 quid Delivered a while back

Do you mean that When I open one of the Books content Page and say' (click on Part 6 in BS7671 & it would take me straight to Part 6 of the Book ? then No

I didn't get one on the 2391 Course but on the 17th/2392 Courses we were given these Guide books from the NICEIC which where really good nicely laid out & had Questionaires after each section

Be careful on Ebay, there is a lot of crap on there and most of it isn't worth the cost of the CD is is put on. Stick to the IET books etc, and you won't end up in a mess. I buy bits and pieces just out of curiosity, but i have yet to buy anything that i would use to deliver the courses, there are too many amateur attempts and incorrect information on them.

Oh yea of course Fella but the CD did have all the Latest Regs/On-Site/ & updated gn's in PDF Format along with some Installation books & the Seller claimed to be a Tutor & had good feedback too from others who also bought the CD ,& for only 7 quid It was worth the Gamble

They do a learning guide for 2382, 2394 and 2395, and they are very very good, and so are their other books on inspection and testing, and i do use these extensively on the courses, as they have very clear explanations about the content in GN3.

Yea I found the Guides really Useful (actually still got mine along with all of my 2330 College stuff ,I actually bought the CD mostly to study for the 2394/5 Courses as I Failed the Theory on the 2391 but didn't go back to re-sit as I knew the newer courses where coming, funny thing is I could have cheated the 2391 Written as there was a pile of GN3's on the Examiners table and she did not know it was a Closed book Exam so asked if we were allowed to use the GN's & of course everyone shouted YES!! but I thought I had studied enough for it and wanted to see if I could actually pass it as it's like The Holy Grail of Electrical Quals but sadly I didn't pass
