Going digital for VAT

Is anyone a small company like ourselves (me and my mate) who just are over the Vat threshold and is forced to stop doing simple accounts and forced to spend £20-25 per month on this digital platform?

the monthly fee for the HMRC compatible platform eg Quickbooks etc. price depends upon the level you want basic been told is about £20/month.

There are others as well as Quickbooks I have been told that there are some that are but there is not any backup support.
There must be others on here that are in the same boat as us.

We have had to upgrade our Sage system, but then it was nearly 10 years old.
It's just another business expense, put your rate up to cover it.
