Phone has stopped again.

We've done a 2,000 leaflet drop over the last few days and we haven't had a single enquiry from it. Gutted.

I've done survey this morning for pv and st and have another pv survey to do tomorrow. I honestly thought it was picking up for everyone but a friend in downham market 6 miles away says he hasn't had a sniff of a job let alone get one.

I'm now having to really put the effort in to get work. Chasing every lead like a greyhound I now find myself making 3 or 4 site visits, module, inverter and layout comparisons. It is getting harder to get customers to commit to an install but they are if you can stick at it.

Try and relax, this is the norm and TBH it wont get any better until the Euros, Jubliee and Olymipics are over and the empending doom from Greece, just keep sowing the seeds (leaflet dropping not baby making) and it will come back - im in other lines of work also and we are quite on all fronts. Dont forget (how could you?) that this is the first sunshine since March, most folk at sat outside with a sigh of relieve for a while. June is looking good for us, but this week i may as well have been abroad.

You're logical side of your brain tells you this is perfectly true and it'a about holding your ground - but the hard bit is when the panic sets in and rational thoughts go out the window!

I'm thinking I'll have a day off tomorrow and make the most of the sun!!

Ive a had a day of today, sort off, cleaned out the garage and van, got a load of stuff to ebay and few odd hilti brackets to get rid off, i know its hard, but then this is the fun of the roller coaster that is self employment, when its good - its good, when its bad - its bad and never anything inbetween - after 10 years of SE i still panic, but this time round there is a bit of meat on the bone as they say and we are ok for a little while yet - just hold on to ya hat its going to be a rough ride.

what hilti brackets are they?

I kicked google adwords in the nuts

Two enquiries on Wed. Site visits arranged for Thurs and Fri. Checked the properties out on Google - the nice easy semi belongs to the grumpy guy who grilled me over the phone on prices. The odd-shaped hipped roof belongs to the lady who sounded absolutely lovely. Anyway, we'll see....

It seems that I've had my quota for a while - I assume I should be grateful .... last week's installs 1492/4000 installers 0.37 per installer. How on earth are we supposed to build a business on this basis?

I've had one phone call in 10 days.

Needing some reassurance guys - just done our last job. Got one of our own to do in the next week or so and one possibility but nothing certain. Where's the rush? Am I the only one without any work??
