Hi,

I need to purchase new LED downlights. What are good brands to consider?

Which online suppliers / electrical stores do you like using? I am based in London.

Many thanks!

I don't like to fit them any more. I get a minimum of 20% fail (and have had 100% fail). Its all well and good having a guarantee and the manufacturer replacing the lamps, but I'm sick of being called back to replace them (time that I can't bill for!)

If you're not installing LED's, what other options are you using? High failure rates usually indicate poor quality lamps or drivers are being used, we've also experienced this in the past with materials that have been supplied by the customer who thinks he's found a bargain.

Walsh builders

give the guarantee to the owner of the lamp. Then when it fails and they need it replacing, they can get it, and then ask you how much it will be to come and do it.......

Would be interested to hear what products you have had these problems with.

I am going to go with the Aurora mSeries range. It comes in three colour temperatures;
Colour Lumens
2700k 360
3000k 400
4000k 435
Anyone familiar with what these actually equate to? Not sure which one to go with, I am looking for warm white.

Thanks
