Got my 2394 online exam Wednesday

Hey people got my 2394 online exam Wednesday :saddam:

I have read all my practise papers (multiple choice) outside in !!!

so was wondering does anyone know where I can practise the online exam would be nice to look at a paper I never seen before

Did mine few months back thought i pretty good come out and just about passed it. Few tricky questions in there.
I revised with this software lecsoft but not sure about it.

I wouldn't worry too much about this one,fairly straightforward stuff, save the worrying for the written exam. 'Kalon Dyxh' as they say!(All Greek to me!)

its the new 2391 course but they split it up to 2394 and 2395 (2395 is the periodic inspection side of it)

its just i got the 2391 a couple of years back...i knew they were replacing it with something else....but didn`t know what the new number for it was...

Yes apparently the content is the same just the course is split in two

..... but a better quality of tester/inspector because now you can spend twice the time studying for what took us half the time on the 2391 course!

I think thats because they've added more technical content to GN3 and BS7671 that wasn't there when the 2391 course was running .... or am I just being cycnical again?!?!

If you have been revising for 2394 written then this should be ok, i done it last month out of 12 of us, only 3 failed, just read the qustions as there are a few that felt like was trying to catch you out.

The online is quite easy, I just blasted some old papers and felt quite comfortable in it. The thing with the 2394/5 is experience testing helps a hell of a lot. I have both these and I'm half tempted to pay the £30 to do the 2392 just for a extra qual on the CV before it's discontinued.

It's very easy, took me 15 mins, got two wrong. I did go through it again afterwards to check if all and I thought everything was correct but clearly not. 38/40 is good. As for the written, it was quite straight forward and easy to be honest. I happened to have got. Copy if the last 2394 written exam paper from end of October, managed to get hold of it for my friend who's going to be doing it soon.

To be honest, if you actively work in the field, you should know how to answer every question as all it is, is initial verification. If you cannot understand the questions or know how to answer them, then it's likely you do not know what you are doing on a day to day basis whilst working.

All you have to do is read the question and answer it in basically the correct sequence, it's not rocket science. Having seen a lot of written papers I cannot understand why so many people fail it, unless they are all totally new to it and know knaff all.
