one question on the fitness test I am strugging with if anyone as done it?

what provisions would your organisation have in place to ensure Tied assessors remain impartial
when carrying out green deal asessements in accordance with the green deal assessor services specification ???

struggling ??

I hereby confirm that I and everyone else in the company has passed a basic fitness test, and can all complete at least 10 press ups and 10 sit ups, and occasionally run for the bus if needed.

If you can't figure out what else to put, feel free to use the above and see if anyone notices;)

more seriously, I'd think you need to search the documentation for this bit 'green deal assessor services specification'

then backtrack from that to explain how you'd ensure impartial decision making - ie making sure the customer is recommended the best solutions for them, not just the solution that you yourself can offer.

I'd think something along the lines of a cost benefit analysis spreadsheet comparing all possible options could do this, but I'm not really sure as I've not read the documentation and don't intend to if I can help it.

Random checks to make sure your assessors are providing the best advice and re-training offered where advice doesn't meet your requirements followed by more frequent random checks until you're satisfied that standards are maintained. Regular monthly meetings with staff to make sure they are up to date and have the option to discuss potential conflicts, providing the platform for open discussions about how to maintain effective, impartial advice.

Random checks could be as high as 50% for the 1st X number of jobs reducing on a sliding scale as confidence about maintaining impartiality is gained. Checks could be phone calls to the customer, double checking paperwork, handover discussions with staff and/or full reviews of randomly selected cases.

Then do 10 press ups!
