It's like THE INSTALLER magazine (bullsh*t spreader) says, it's up to us, the people in the industry, to promote it. I'd like to think I have a reasonable inbuilt fact detector, but I don't think I have come across one hard fact about the green deal yet from reading any of these industry publications. Anybody remember the story of The Emperors New Clothes???
no today the first date you can complete occupancy assessments and apply for eco funding
Still not heard a thing about the green deal in the mainstream media. So much for the greenest Gubbermint evers' flagship energy policy...
that about sums decc up doesn't it.A Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) spokesman said jobs in the industry would increase in the long term, up from 26,000 in 2012 to around 60,000 in 2015."We regret any job losses, but the Green Deal offers a bright future for the insulation industry following an initial period of transition," he said.
"Looking at the whole picture, there will actually be more jobs in the insulation sector under Green Deal and the ECO than there are now."
