According to my parents I changed my first fuse when I was 5! Ended up following the old man into mechanical engineering before finally settling on building services (both M&E) and been doing it for over 30 years.

Welcome Sparkgap, what part of Somerset are you from and where did you do your M&E work? I ask because I hail from Bath and ended up an M&e Foreman for the then DofE .

Near Taunton but originally from Wilts. Also spent several years in Cumbria. Used to work for the county councils but now with a contractor.

Never got that way much, mind you drunk a lot of their bottled Cider in my youth. Think it was marketed as Natuaral Dry Cider, we called it "Natch" go and get three bottles of Natch from the Offy on a Friday lunch time, and while away the afternoon til it was time for the Van to pick us up.
