Can anyone advise?

When installing intergrated appliances in a kitchen via double pole fused grid switches where are the socket outlets or hard wire pionts placed. Can you mount them directly behind the appliance (as with none intergrtaded) or do they have to be placed to the side of the appliance?

The Part P installation guide is not clear when grid swiches are used.

Thanks for any advise.
