You shouldn't be using grinding discs for cutting - use a cutting disc (the clue is in the name!). There are quite a few brand names, but certainly Bosch, Makita, Norton are good.
Good metal cutting blades are available for chop saws. Obviously never try to cut metal with a toothed blade!
