Sat here with paper everywhere, doing my tax return with a headache!!!! Do you do your own books or do you use an accountant? thought ide start a topic off as were now in our new financial year!

oh thats fine then...!!! im squaring my books up from year end as well..!!! i pass it to my bookkeeper who double checks then it goes to accountant who fiddles with some numbers, adds some numbers and takes some stuff away then i end up with a rebate some how!!

i am using sage this year !! got my first introduction tomorrow with bookeper!

If you're self-employed, you have to fill in a Self Assessment tax return every year. Each April HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) will send you a letter telling you to complete a tax return or a paper return if you've sent in a paper tax return before.
