Gu10 lamps

So I was gonna go for these Jcc spotlights in my room as reccomended on here. I'm going to need 9 of them though and so 9 new gu10 lamps but there not cheap. Would you go for 50w gu10 LEDs or do you go lower. How much can I expect to pay per lamp as I'm going to need 9

9 x 50W led's? I hope you don't live near an airport!! Or 9 x 50W equivalents (circa 7W)?

How big is the room? If you fit 9 x 50w thats 450w per hour. Don't fancy paying your leccy bill

If you want dimmable led lamps it would cost you an arm and a leg but if they are non dimmable just the arm.:clown:

well the curerent lighting arrangment is on a dimable switch. I really did fancy spotlights in my room on a dimmer switch but this is all a little of putting lol.

lol also at elmer I do as it happens so good job I asked. I do like this site as it can save you a lot of expense and mistakes by the looks of things.

So what are my options then. Originally I was going to go and buy a pack of 10 spotlights from screwfix but the was a lot of reccomendations to go for a make called JCC from the wholesalers as they will be pretty much the same price but of a lot better quality so I had sort of made my mind up to go for these and then just buy some LED gu10 lamp fittings.

Weve got the LED ones in the kitchen on further investigation they are only 1.4W which is amazing really as there pretty bright. For a pack of three though they we nearly £25 from B&Q and I dont really fancy having to buy 3 lots of those @ 75 quid and a spare pack so another £25 quidincase any blow.

Suppose my only option really is to go back to the screwfix fittings and stay with the normal lamps that were used before the LED ones appeared especially if I want the to be dimmable.

Im not really fussed though and would just have them on a onn off setup with the LED's if you think it would be better and pretty much the same price. any advice welcomed

Gu10 led which give as much light as halogen 50w, I assume that's what you mean. Non dim able, cheaper then dimmable. Depends on quality and brand. R u a spark or have a mate who is, with a trade account? Nine Lights , non dim, decent brand = 100+ then vat
