Did anyone watch it last night? 700BHP engine and 160MPH in a transit van that he had wrote off a few months earlier. Well pleased with himself that he managed to do 100k miles on the same set of brake pads lol.

Yeah I watched it, big fan of Guy but I thought they dragged it out over an hour and a half. Wonder what the bill would have been for the work on the van.

Yeah same here mate. I've just read his book when you dead, you dead. I bet that engine was some serious bucks alone. Shame that septic messed up the calibration...

Yeah but mistakes happen.

My son is named after a sort of tedious link with Guy. Everyone thought I'd be naming him Guy, Valentino, or Marco. But on "the boat that Guy built" he had a mate he called Mave (I think he was called Dave actually but Guy nicknamed him Mave). I quite liked the name Mave, but the missus wasn't too keen so we settled on Maven.
