we have had installed some Hagar ARM932U Arc Fault Detection Device in one of our care homes.
they had reported tripping issues , so i tried to do an (RCD) Residual Current Device test.
it wont trip at any current.
looking it up it seems they are not also an rcbo . if so whats the point of them.
also if so they should not have been installed i think
has anyone else come across similar issues?
i have contacted Hagar for confirmation.

thanks for the confirmation this is what i thought.
i cant think of what use this device is .
i have seen David Saverys Arc Fault Detection Device testing videos most interesting
