Hagar rcbo into old style board.

Hi all,

visited a property today that has had the shower upgraded but has now caused it to trip as it was on a 32amp mcb and the shower is rated at 8500w.

it is not on an rcd, so when i upgrade to a 40amp i would ideally like to go down the rcd route rather than installing an enclosure next to the board.

does anybody know if the latest hagar rcbo's will fit in the old style DB's, the mcb's in there at the minute are the 3871 m3 kind, had a tested date of 1990 on it too.

I've seen Hager boards with a mixture of 3871 and 60898's in them so I would assume they do.

awesome thanks guys, i have seen them too just hoping that i get the height required by the rcbo, and it wont hit a neutral or earth bar.
