Hammerite, how hot can it stand?

Slightly off electrical, but does anyone happen to know the max temp that Hammerite can run to before it flakes off or burns? Wondering if I can repaint the gas BBQ with it!

Right you lot : am holding you all responsible for this; I say I'm nipping out to the Orange Shed to get some paint (£11). Get joined by Mrs Rock and mini Rock and suddenly I'm over £100 down on the deal having been dragged into various adjacent sheds. I believe this is what the military call 'mission creep'.
