Hand off auto switching

Ok folks,

Here it goes, feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I have to two lighting circuits broke through two contactors, the control circuit is broke through a hand off auto switch at the minute, however I have to install a one way switch at a communal point/landords, etc. I have ran a twin brown and earth to this one way switch, the feed coming from the common in the HOA switch, and the switch wire from the one way to the L2 side of the HOA, I am aiming for the one way to over ride the HOA switch..

Does this sound correct??

sorry i thought you had tried it. when wiring a hoa switch i would make common be the switch wire to the contactor. it should work ok but you'll just have to check which is permanent feed and switch wire

It is Tony... Only ever used that term for a Hand/ Off /Auto switch. It's also often shown in this term, on single line and schematic drawings...
