I would like any advice on weather the Megger DCM305E will measure normal current as well as earth leakage current and if its a good tool.
 
Good enough tool,but no DC....
I prefer AC AND DC,on the same device,and have a purpose made one,for the mA scale,which on mine,also does AC/DC :)
 
Yeah,and my DCM 340,does not do peak hold,on DC,which can be a pain...

We can always find fault....i'm sure there is an Aesop's fable,concerning fault-finders...

On the flip side,me new 28ii is proving to be an asset...and has pretty much paid for itself already....might take it to Costa in the morning,treat it to a coffee... ;)
