That's why Hager is fitting only 100A RCD's in their consumer units now.The regulations now require that the main switch and rccb are protected against overload and that diversity of the final circuits shall not be solely used.
Manufacturers instructions should be followed.
The primary ocpd could be 60/63 amps so it would be acceptable, then again it could be 80/100
Total MCB rating of 88A on a 63A RCD. Is this still allowed?
A nonsense I agree, but some manufacturers are adamant this is no longer permitted.
Edit: What rating is the cutout fuse?

Had a sparky install a new consumer unit, has it been done correctly. Bare in mind the chap cut corners on other bits of work he was contracted to do.

Poor standards even reflect negatively on the vast majority who do good work and are honest tradesmen
A couple of hundred too cheap I reckon.Sounds a bit cheap to me, but not ridiculously so.
