bit of a simple question, can't remember the size of heat shrink to order to cover a crimp joint, domestic 2.5 and 1.5 stuff, had some but lost it, having a restocking day and sorting my van out as its shocking.....

cheers boys,and girls!

I did this table a while ago, the minimums are for straight undamaged cable and may be tight to fit. The table is not well formatted and you should look to the right of the column header for the relevant value. (this may change once it is posted!)

Great table I'm sure Richard, but this is what it looks like on my phone!

and it did not apply my formatting!

what do you guys use for a heat source i had a small gas flambeaux torch that i was using but that broke and needs replacing

Cheap electric heat gun (sold for paint stripping etc.), just have to a bit be careful if the heatshrink is being applied on the only circuit available to power the heat gun!
