Crumbs Buzz, lots of options, depends on make and model. Biggest one i have done required

1. TP supply
2. SP Supply
3. Internet connection.
4. Outside temp connection.
5. Alarm output connection.
6. Remote Auto / standby
7. Extended temp sensor wires for Buffer tanks.
8. UFH Controls back to circulating pump

Simpler Ones:
1. SP Supply
2. Thermostat to activate remote UFH pump.
3. internet connection.

Get hold of install manual :-0

To wire a heat pump, start by identifying the components: the outdoor unit (compressor), indoor unit (air handler), and thermostat. Always ensure the power is off before beginning.

Basic Wiring Steps:

  • Thermostat Wiring:Common connections include:
    • R (Red): Power (24V)
    • Y (Yellow): Compressor
    • G (Green): Fan
    • O/B (Orange/Blue): Reversing valve (for heat/cool mode)
    • C (Common): Continuous 24V power
  • Outdoor Unit Wiring: This connects to the indoor unit and thermostat via low-voltage wires.
  • Control Board: Inside the air handler, match the thermostat wires to the control board terminals as per the wiring diagram.

Important Tips:

  • Refer to the Manual: Always consult the installation manual or wiring diagram specific to your heat pump model. If missing, search online using the make and model.
  • Get Professional Help: If unsure, it’s best to consult an HVAC technician to avoid improper wiring.

AI generated. And possibly not applicable to the OPs situation.
