hi

Ive finished and passed my level 2 2330 at a well known training centre, ive also done my 17th edition and PAT testing also Part P.

I am due to start my level 3 2330 very soon and have a few questions.

What exactly can i install with the level 2 2330 in domestic properties?

What are the advantages of getting level 3? other than working on commercial and industrial

And would it be possible for me to get a job with just the level 2 qual and pat testing, part - etc and what would the position be??

Thank You All for your time

Hi j. sparx, im a little confused here.

I was required to complete my level 3 c&g 2330 first before l was allowed to do my 17th edition, as it is a level 3 course. After that you can do the c&g 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification, which is also level 3 as far as im aware.

You will find that qualifications are the least of your probs on this one regarding getting a job, as everyone asks for experience.

My advice to you is : Learn what you can, when you can, as thats how your skill base is built, which will gain you experience. Just make sure that you do it safely and you should be ok, as long as your willing to put in the time...

Thanks Jabbajaws much appreciated.

So you are saying complete the level 3 and try and get as much experience as i can.

Im not sure how it works but i completed my 17th edition before i even finished my level 2 2330, also did my pat testing 2377 and part p.

I think all centres do things differently, its always what works into their schedule the best.

Anyone only have the level 2 2330 qualification? How do you get on?

Thank You All
