have i missed much, probably not. any way i switched off from electrical things on holiday as well lets just say the Dominican Republic have a long way to come in terms of

Three of us have died, we're up to the 19th edition of wiring regs, the electrician licensing scheme has come and gone and T+E 2.5mm is now £100 a roll.

glad you made it back ok. the nic have taken over this forum and we have to pay a subscription to use it of £550 + vat. hope this helps oh and also camcleg have brought in a special vat rate on twin and earth

yeah the locals had a mint system, it was called who ever can tap into the supply and get power is the KING!!

never seen sooooooo many cables randomly bunched together where the over head line had been tapped into..!

oh and my rcd never worked in my room...! yes i tried to test it lol... also lights and sockets on same circuit and lights not fused down either..!! quality...! i love it..!!

could not help but notice that all there outdoor lights were just normal screw fittings as well !! no such thing as IP system over there!!
