Right,so you know what is out there,work place related,you have the brain/motor skills (done some karting and a LOT of fixing) therefore the only bit to add,is perseverance.
It's always a bit of a gamble,here,when lads ask the question you have,and advice is given,not knowing a person's position.
Obviously,having no acumen in maths,or being colour blind,definitely does NOT mean a career is impossible - but it certainly affects time scale and ease.
I hope the course you have enrolled on,is guided towards a credible end,too many are a bit vague.
There is a trainee section,on the forum,you may find it beneficial.
I understand the situation you explained,and have had many friends,over the years,some on exceedingly big salaries,come to the place you are at. It is a massive boost,to be looking forward to a days carry-on...and not dreading it!
