Hello all,
New here, I've been asked to look at a Satchwell BMS including software and RS-485 cabling etc, as it is having intermittant problems.
Does anyone know anything about these systems or of an internet forum dealing with these systems?
The problem is that the monitoring system has never really worked for more than a couple of days before losing communication with the control hardware.
The installation/support company have given up supporting it, except for charging for spending several hours fiddling every time they are on site for another reason.
I will be onsite shortly to check out the system layout and configuration and hopefully do some simple cabling checks and also check the RS-485 waveforms and terminations.
