Hi people,

I'm Leia, and I've been lurking here and learning loads from this forum.

I did my C&G 236 (1 and 2) many moons ago, and worked in other fields as well, but kept the electrical stuff going too.

Well, I've decided to get back into the sparking (always loved the challenges!), as there are too many instances of my having to turn work away as I can't sign it off/notify it myself.

So a C&G 17th Exam is clearly needed (got olde test papers from the web- revising like mad), and I'm looking for a Test Centre that will let me do the exam only (I'm in the West End of London but I can see I may need to travel 100+miles to do the one off exam).

after that, I'll be joining NAPIT, and facing their assessment.

Then it's back to the trials and tribulations of being a self employed female sparkie...

Really great forum, loads of good advice and shared experiences...thanks already for that :)

Cheers,

Leia

Thanks for the welcome, and especially for the pointer towards Stevenage. I'd rung a lot of London Training centres and no-one was up for me doing the exam only...or if they were, I have to wait till the end of Autumn term...

I'll try the Stevenage place in the morning...thanks again :)
