Hi All,
I joined theforum a few weeks ago, but this is my first post.
I am a time served Electrician with 25yrs experience and a raft ofqualifications. Form C&G papers throughto a Degree in Management, But firmlybelieve that experience counts more that paper.
I have worked in the industry for various companies but the happiest I haveever been is the past 7 years running my own company.
I hate cowboys with a passion, I believe anyone can make mistakes and should begive a chance to get it right, but detest anyone who would willfully rip off aclient.
Although I am a Fully Qualified Electrician, I choose to work on DomesticInstallations, this is the area I am comfortable with and enjoy. I honestlybelieve that there isn’t a fault in a domestic installation that I haven’t yetcome across.
I am constantlysurprised at how little homeowners know about electricity and the safety of theirhomes, and try what I can to educate. Really think Government and awardingbodies (NICEIC, NAPIT etc )could do a lot more in this area.
I run a smallCompany Employing just Three others and we serve the Domestic Market(homeowners, letting agents, Estate agents etc).
I am lookingforward to being a part of the Forum and hope to be able to gain from thewealth of knowledge of the members.
Regards,
James
