Hi, just to say hello. Reason I joined is after 7 months I have been laid off by the small firm I was working for. That 7 months was the only electrical working experience I have and joined the forum to see if any other Glasgow firms were hiring mates. I also am trying to see about the ECS card and what one I should get as I don't have one and from my brief search it seems I need one. Anyway, I will have a scout around the forum. Already I can see it is a very useful resource!

I was going to be poking around someone's garden unpicking the rats nest of lighting cables trying to work out what's causing them to trip the circuit protection, but with the weather that's forecast it would be more like wallowing in a mud hole so we changed plans last night.

Nice lazy day ahead, take the dog for a walk, take a friend to vote and maybe get a little paperwork up to date and then game a little or crack on with setting up my software development environment, getting ready to start work on a new game
