Hi i went to a house to quote today to in install a very expensive and heavy chandelier.
The owner seems to think that her friend has a system where you can put the light on a "pully" and lower it if it needs to be cleaned?
1.Has anyone ever installed them?
2.Isit difficult to install?
3.Where and how much?

Need to get the quote over tonight, so any help would be mucho apprectio.

Not cheap are they!!! ....geezers over 550 quid for the smallest unit!!! Over 1500 quid for the biggest pulley !!!
Good job i can't stand chandeliers, wouldn't give them house room, This just gives me another bona fide reason to stay well away from the dammed things!!! ...lol!!!

Yeah right, 'steep' isn't the word; 'effing vertical' more like.
Although to be fair if you've got the money for a chandelier that size and a house big enough to keep it in, the price of one of those winches is probably loose change.
