If he is doing the 2391-10 which I think the 302 is, then it's closed book

The 302 is the 2nd of the assessments in the 2330 Level 3. It's the first one which is not "Multiple Guess". It's written papers and you're allowed BS7671 and the OSG, If I remember correctly, but not the GN3 as that's too helpful. It's a two-parter, a practical, where you ARE allowed all notes inc the GN3 and then the written part, which is as above...

So what is the written/ pratcial of the 2391-10 as they use to be pratical 301 and written 302 or about face? Or don't they give these modules numbers now ................

I feel one of my heads coming on ..............

Then allow me to make it worse!

The 2391-10 theory exam is now unit 301

The 2391-10 practical assessment is now unit 302

How's that for madness??

So it was about face ...........I know it's a while since I did the 2391 but I thought it did have numbers attached somewhere ......

So next question is the Why all the 302 for C&G have they bought a job lot of 302 numbers and desperately need to call all their courses 302, or is the 302 for the 2330 the same 302 for the 2391-10 ................

I think I need a dark room soon .......what happened to the good old A B C courses, or was that just to easy

They're entirely different but prefixed by the course number eg 2300-302

I wonder who came up with the system, genius!

He is doing the 2330 level "3" section "02" hence 302 exam. A lot of the level 3 stuff is based on and goes hand in hand with the 2391. A large variety of questions can be thrown at you, try and get past papers from your tutor. (Are you at LCC?). I'm in Leeds myself and can loan you the level 3 Trevor Linsley book if you want, just send me a pm with your phone number.
