Hello,
Im 28 and completed my 2360 pt1 about 9 years ago. I have been working in television since and now i want to complete my qualification. I have contacted my local college and they have informed me that i have to pay £3000 for an 18month intensive (2 week nights a week, 2 saturdays a month) to be fully qualified. But this includes the testing and inspecting and 17th edition. But It means thats the 2 years i did years ago is wasted. My friend also told me not to bother with the testing and inspecting. I have been working in the electrical side of tv and film so i havent forgotten it. But i cant complete my pt2. I did try a home study beginning of last year, but i just couldnt consentrate and take it in without hands on experience. I didnt even sit the exam. But that was while i was working full time. Now im part time.
So i want to be qualified to be able to do domestic and to sign it off. Is it worth the independant study centers or just stick with what im doing. HELP i dont know any real Electricians who know what they are talking about.

I also would like to take the qualification abroad..... But thats a whole different thread.

THANKYOU IN ADVANCE.
