The house has been checked out and requires a rewire, So the bloke has had an electrician round to talk him through it and the owner is now rewiring it himself..

and there advertising this on TV..???????

Am i missing something?

Maybe they don't want to put there name to his installation...

Theres no way I would be coming back to this and putting my name on the certificate..

Its like they have advertised this is an ok thing to do..??

Sarah Beeny did say that it was ok in not so many words, any more and a Qualified Electrician would be required.

So its ok if you want to first fix your own home but any more than that then you need a qualified electrician?

Yeah good point..

I also thought 4k was a good price for the location, size and end finish. Still not good enough for him though and still wanted to do it his self

he had a total 50k budget for the place... Nutta!
