Hi Guys,

I need some help and advise. I am looking to enhance my qualifications and to gain accredited status as a competent and professional electrical building services engineer. I have been working as the Electrical Contracts Manager at a Building Services Company in Hull for past 2 years since i was 21 looking after a team of 6 approved electrician and 2 apprentices winning and completing contracts in excess of 100k. The demands of this role mean I have found it difficult to find a course I can complete in my free time that would be beneficial to me (level 4 or above). Day release courses are unfortunately not an option to me or my employer as work constraints mean I am unable to be away from the business for a full day each week. I have obtained 2 further city and guilds qualifications since leaving college in 2007. These are the 2391-10 Inspection and Testing and the 2391-20 Design and Verification of Electrical installation. I hope you can understand my predicament and can advise me in the best way to progress.

PS I have looked at HNC's but was wondering if theirs anything else I could do ?

thanks
Dan
