Hi,
im relatively new to the forum and is my first post,
a little about myself, i have my 2330 qualification and my 17th eddition and 3 years experience in mainly domestic and light industrial work, i do some testing work mainly on domestic propertys, ie know how to do basic tests, im always looking to get more qualifications under my belt so looking to do my test and inspection qualifications, i have had a look on some training centre course lists and they list a 2391 and 2392 qualifications, the 2392 is a introductory course for people new to testing? i would rather go straight for the 2391 qualification or am i gonna struggle, is the 2391 course very industrial based? im hard working a dont mind reading up before taking the course, just wondered how you guys got on with the 2391 qualification? thanks steve

It's completely down to your own confidence in yourself and if you think it is worth the gamble. Have a browse through the test and inspection forum at questions and general threads, and see how you feel about it.
I'm currently running a 2391 for 5 chaps who have not done the 2392. To my surprise they seem very confident in the theory exam (it's this Thursday) and have been getting all worried about the practical side. I asked them why they were so confident for the theory and their feedback to me is the quality of their training, the relaxed atmosphere with the method that the syllabus is delivered.
They had all of their practical assessments yesterday (a 13 hour day for me) and all managed to pass, and so they are very positive at the moment.

Have a look through the training centre feedback forums also to see what the feedback is like.
