Hi All, please be gentle im a newbie, i am an industrial maintenance electrician and i am currently doing a loft conversion. 2 yrs ago i changed my board for a board with all individual rcd's for seperate circuits and i ran power cables and pipes into my loft ready for this conversion. i have since redone my bathroom and toilet on first floor which was easiest access to get through house to loft. my dilema is the wife has now decided she would like a spa bath so my questio is can this be fed from the loft ring main which is on its own seperate rcd or would it have to have its very own supply. thanks in advance . rob

less tha 5A so that'll be fine on the existing ring. i'd put it on a FCU. manufacturers should specify fuse rating. just ensure all circuits in barthroom are RCD protected

thanks for your help. just been reading an old post on same question. i shall put a fcu on outside wall of bathroom in the landing area and just have a cable connection plate under bath. also gonna treat myself to a shaver socket, i take it this is ok to come from bathroom light still as circuit also on seperate rcd. thanks again rob.
