My 2330-301 is just around the corner and im stuck on the following questions and would feel better to have them under my belt please could you explain to me how to work them out I have the awnsers for them just not how to get the awnser appreciate any help.
How is an earth on a star/delta transformer achieved?
A transformer rated at 18 KVA has 800watts of losses with a 0.85 power factor, calculated the effieciency of the transformer.
Awnser = 95%
A motor driving a conveyour belt system runs at 3600 RPM apporximatly, Fed from a 60Hz supply, which one of the following is a suitable motor?
A= 2 pole ac motor (but how would I work this out or do I just have to know it?)
What is the surface illuminance from a 3000cd light source 9m above the ground?
A= 37lx
What is the surface illuminance from a 2000cd light source 9m directly below and at a distance of 8m away?
A= 24.8 & 10.4lx
Calculate the capacitive reactance of a capaciator rated at 60 micro farrads
A medium sized factory has a three phase load of 50 KVA and 30 KVAr calculate the total KW.
A= 40KW
