Hey, I've been working with a company for 7 years and started thinking about going it alone however I'm unsure on how much to price jobs at. I have been asked to do some work for a friend but I cant figure out how to add up a total. Can anyone help?
I have to:
- Replace 4 ceiling lights with 9 fire rated downlighters.
- Wire a centre light and change a light switch to a 2 gang dimmer.
- Install lighting to the top of kitchen units (fluorescent fittings and switchlines are already there)
on top of that i have to make good the channeling to the switch and i will be cutting plynths to fix to the top of the kitchen units to hide the fittings.
The materials have come to around £220.
Any ideas on a total price?
