Help with DOL starter please!!!!!!

Hello all.
I won't bore you with with the story but I need to be able to wire a 3 phase DOL starter for an upcoming exam.
Needless to say I am absolutely CLUELESS!
Internal connections, start,stop and all the rest???????

Any help in a step by step form even an idiots guide would be much appreciated.
Patronise me all you like and please assume that I know nothing (as it is not far from the truth)

Hi Gerry I have just knocked up a simple diagram with basic explanation, you will have to add representations of MCB's/Fuses to the live lines when you produce your own drawing plus an isolator before all connections.

The coil of Contactor (K1) is energised when the stop button is pressed, this closes the
main contacts so starting the motor. At the same time the auxiliary contact K1.1
closes so holding on the contactor coil. To stop the motor the stop button is depressed.
The Overload relay protects the circuit from over-current stresses if undue load is put
upon the motor, the overload contact will de-energise the coil should a over-current be
detected.

I think your text accompanying the diagram is wrong surely you must press the start button to energise the contactor

Doh absolutely correct that should also be 'an' overload my proof reading failed (1 out of 10 for effort) I'll get my coat.
